Pritzel 8018; Hunt 426. An excellent copy with the scarce "Index Morborum", which is generally not present. The charming frontispiece was engraved by Michael van der Gucht from a drawing by Eloas Knight. The woodcuts are original and were not taken from other herbals as was usually done. Little is known of W. Salmon he lived from 1644-1712, after much travelling he settled down in London to practice medicine.
