Bologna, Guiseppe Longhi and Franciscus Curtus, c.1644. Small folio (275 x 200mm). With engraved title within a garland of flowers and ribbons, 31 engraved plates, reversed images of Robert's 'Variae ac multiformes florum species'. Old boards.

A very rare set of engravings after Robert with strong impressions. There is no mention of Robert and all the plates are signed F. Curtus. This set is not mentioned in any of the obvious bibliographies although Curtus or Curti is known as a publisher of other works.
